Looking to build a home there on a piece of land. What's it like living there? Any gun ranges, trap, sporting clays nearby?

There are 3 ranges nearby, just google it and they will show up. I'm in Crystal River and hear others shoot all the time on their own land. I've been here 21yrs and it's much better than living in the St Pete/Clearwater area, a lot less people and cars. Can easily drive to Ocala or Tampa when needed.
