I was licensed in 1987 as KC4BUE, then a few months later I was KM4DM for five minutes (by the time I got my advanced license in the mail I had already passed my extra exam), then right after that I got AB4KA. I was pretty active for a few years then moved to a place where I had no place for a station and moved on to other things (like guns )
About a year ago the bug bit me again hard and I was able to trade into some used equipment, most of which I sold and bought a couple of new things. Having as much fun as I ever did!
So...we got any other hams onboard?
73!
Any other ham radio operators here?
N4KVE here. Been an extra with 20 WPM code since the late 80’s. Mostly on UHF repeaters in Palm Beach County. GARY.
Yes, but not very active these days.
On almost every day

I have a General ticket, but never use it
The tag on my pickup is W4NKR, with no reference to ham radio. I was at a stoplight and saw a guy's license plate frame that said "HAM RADIO OPERATOR W4NKR" or something similar. I laughed and told him to look at my tag. What're the odds of that?

Yeah, have my extra ticket.
Haven't been on in over a year, just too much work right now. Although I should get back on later this summer, with summer, of course, being the worse time of the year.
