Very nice, though I am not too sure about using regular pvc piping to run electrical wiring through. Seems that I recall if you get a melt down it will put off some serious toxic gas.

Bear = Underwood or similar ammo. Yeh id order buffalo bore, underwood or lehigh defense. Theres arguable conflicting articles on whether the barrel length difference from the 20 to 40 really makes much a difference when it comes to velocity... But my common sense spider tingle is flickin a lil bit...

Personally I would go with the g20 as I would want the lighter weight and quicker draw of the shorter length. If the goal was to use it as a hunting weapon then the g40 would be the natural choice.
