Amendment 3 would make citizen initiatives the sole way to expand gambling. This is a much harder path. That's it. A3 doesn't expand gambling, it puts it to the public to approve by referendum. The logistical problems of this are not in using either DST (proposed) or EST, but in putting the entire state in the same time zone.

Can you imagine? We'd have to bring everything west of the Apalachicola River ahead 25 years...

I work with demographic data a lot. The 2016 election numbers in Florida are not any sort of reassurance because of the voters that stayed home the last time around. With city populations increasing and rural populations declining, all the dems need to do is get the vote out this time to swing this ...
