Re: Got some Tokarev questions for those who've owned them.

Thanks - and yes, it was the TT-33 (Romanian version, so actually TTC) I was asking about. I went ahead and picked up the gun, and it's a beauty, aside from the stupid thumb safety required to be added for import. The seller's got a few hundred rounds of surplus ammo he'll give me first dibs on. Fro...

Got some Tokarev questions for those who've owned them.

Never owned anything in 7.62x25, but I've got a line on a Tokarev I'm thinking about getting to play around with. What's considered a good price on surplus 7.62x25 ammo these days? Any factories to avoid due to reliability or accuracy issues? Anyone ever converted their Tok to 9mm with a Chinese bar...

Re: As you consider voting, just a reminder about Wilton Simpson

So, just to clarify what you are recommending...what is your bottom line? Don't vote for anyone in that race? That's what I'm doing - he may get the win, but it won't be with the help of my vote. I won't vote for the Democrat in this race either, but if a reasonable, moderate Democrat ever came up ...

As you consider voting, just a reminder about Wilton Simpson

Just because he's running as a Republican, doesn't mean he is one . . . He wants to be the next Commissioner of Agriculture, and in charge of Florida's Division of Licensing, including your Concealed Weapon LIcense. BUT, before you fill in the bubble next to his name just because he's the "Repu...

Re: No firearm or ammo sales during FL State of Emergency

Your FFL is misinformed. While Florida law arguably (and unconstitutionally, in my opinion) gives the governor the power to suspend firearm sales in a declared emergency, such a suspension must be specifically enumerated in the declaration. On Friday, DeSantis issued Executive Order 22-218, declarin...

Re: Pistol brace upgrade to SBR FREE!

No thanks. I have no intention of contributing to ATF's not-so-subtle registry project. The main bonus of using a brace on an AR pistol (aside from making one handed firing easier, of course) is that I can legally travel from state to friendly state with a pistol whenever I feel like it, without ask...
