Re: Looks like braced pistols are SBR’s.
With all this talk of tube socks, are we still discussing pistols?

Re: Looks like braced pistols are SBR’s.
Not quite. I own two SBR’s that I properly obtained by purchasing two stamps before the brace loophole existed. So then a few years later people who are not disabled figure they can use a brace to avoid the SBR stamp. So I wasted my $400? Imagine if you were left $ by a relative who died, & you...

Re: Looks like braced pistols are SBR’s.
So if I say that I am sitting on 6 pistol lowers, do I get a handful of stamps? Those 3 for $99 either Anderson or PSA lowers would be handy for this. No. I believe they want to see pre Friday the 13th dated photos of assembled braced pistols for the “free upgrade”. GARY. I've not seen evidence of ...

Re: Looks like braced weapons are SBR’s.
Or register the braced pistol for free. It must be individual tho, no trusts unless the trust already owned the pistol. Please explain how this works. Is there a free Form 1 for braced pistols owned by individuals that isn't available to trusts? 🤔 When the atf offers free tax stamps to grandfather ...

Re: I went a d recently got me not one, but two S&W 9mm pistols!
Very cool collection and a neat niche grab there. I picked up one of the SV9s years ago for under $300 as a kamikaze truck gun and the darn thing always just works. Horrible trigger pull, but just fine for a SHTF pistol. I'm a fan. I forgot about CCF Raceframes! I bought one years ago purely for a p...

Re: PSA on flying with a rifle case and TSA locks
The airline is also not permitted to require you to open your case to inspect the firearm. American is notorious for asking you to do this, then requiring your ammo to be packaged in an OEM box. The TSA is very subjective. I've seen things get confiscated at a TSA checkpoint that had been passed by ...

Re: Got some Tokarev questions for those who've owned them.
Some of the recent imports have a trigger safety versus the thumb safety, so it's not as obtrusive and possibly removable. If you shoot corrosive, don't be scared of hot water.

Re: Got some Tokarev questions for those who've owned them.
I'm assuming you're talking about the TT-33 and not a CZ52. You can easily just swap the barrel and even use the original mags, though the 9mm specific mags may run better. There used to be gobs of ammo for dirt cheap back in the day, but it seems to have dried up. What you have to be careful about ...
