Not all states have the same kind of laws about shooting fleeing felons as Florida.
Indiana might still have legal immunity for shooting one.
It came about due to the train robbing Reno gang.

Re: Another Florida business owner probably about to be charged with murder
Yes, the employee who fired the shot will probably lose more than a ring. With the newspapers so biased against guns and gun owners, he will be tried and convicted in the newspaper long before he's tried in court. If he passed a ccw class successfully, he must not have been listening to the part abo...

Re: off duty dallas cop enters wrong apartment and kills man inside
If this situation is the result of some kind of conflict, whether or not the aggressor is a police officer might have little to do with the outcome. Although it is part of an officers' training to be aggressive and take charge. If she's lying about any of it, it's surprising she didn't claim she tho...

Re: Sophia Floersch, 17, 270 km/h Formula 3 crash
If I did the arithmetic correctly, her speed was 170 mph. Holy Cow. It looks like her car banged wheels with another car. In an open wheel car that usually means disaster. Hope she recovers ok. She could wind up paralyzed. A friend had an accident on a 1/3 mile oval after a similar crash in a midget...

Re: Local reloading supplies
One reason the stores don't usually sell reloading stuff may be because they make more money selling factory ammo.
Just a guess, though.

Re: German Shepherds and Home Insurance Providers
I was under the impression that it's possible to have as much insurance as you can afford.
Dogs, swimming pools, whatever.
Want it covered, add the coverage and write a bigger check.
Of course, remember who you are dealing with.
Insurance companies, the human version of a weasel.

Just before the insurance guy shows up, give the dog something to calm it down.
I once had a huge and sometimes aggressive 100 lb boxer.
One beer and he was asleep.
If it works, then just drag the dog out of sight.
If it snores as loud as mine, blame it on grandpaw.

It's a lot less hassle and expense to just look at a video of sea critters.
Plenty of them on the web.

Re: Lakeland commissioner fatally shoots man in Army-Navy store that he owns
My 2 cents: I hate thieves, too. But shooting a guy over an inexpensive tool is a bit much. Especially when the thieve's father is right there paying for other stuff anyway. Just add the price of the hatchet to the father's bill. Dad probably wouldn't complain, no doubt having plenty of previous exp...
