Re: Sheriff Bob Gualtieri: Clearwater shooting fits 'Stand Your Ground'
I'm all for SYG. I'm also all for knocking people on their ass when they deserve it too. I've been on both sides of it. It's effective. So I'm kinda torn. I'm NOT saying this guy deserved it, I'm not saying the guy who pushed him down was right either. Law says its a good shoot, so its a good shoot.

Re: Official AK Picture Thread
Milled early M72 Kit build on ORF receiver. Needs paint and finishing touches. Was a early threaded type receiver kit, turned down to 23mm for press and pin. Original barrel in surprisingly good shape. Custom clubfoot stock, PSL muzzle brake. She's a heavy girl;

Re: Parts Kits and Projects Picture Thread!
I wish I could do a postie. Would have saved me $400 on it. Its half MK2, half MK5. I thought as a pistol, the MK5 was better in the back. MK2 parts were cheaper so I subbed those in where I could. Not entirely sure what needs to be done to the magazine, but I've read that they can modified for 7.62...

Re: Ghost guns win .gov approval!!!
Out of curiosity, i did find this; https://www.atf.gov/firearms/docs/undefined/howtoproperlydestroyfirearmspdf/download That seems to be directly about handguns and bolt action rifles, so definitely not geared towards MG's. Perhaps its changed? The stuff you posted was geared towards machine gun, an...

Re: Ghost guns win .gov approval!!!
So if you contact ATF and do whatever paperwork is required to get a serial number assigned (and I would think engraved into the gun) then it would be legal to sell across state lines? Sure sounds like more of a PITA that most people would not be wanting to go through. But good to know just the sam...

Re: Parts Kits and Projects Picture Thread!
. A CETME-L in 5.56 looks like a neat novelty build challenge. I don't get a lot of time to follow any of the build threads anymore are their receivers are available for those CETME L kits.....bending jigs ? HMG(?) offers a flat....its $250 though :o And yeah, special jig....a regular HK jig wont w...
