Re: AOW vs. Non-AOW?

I'm aware of the 26" rule...so why doesn't Remington just slap a birdshead grip on it (to get it over 26") and sell it like the Tac-14? Wondering who their market is for the AOW units... Law Enforcement......and anyone who doesn't want to hold their shotgun like Bama Mc Call in "Gator" when they fi...

Re: AOW vs. Non-AOW?

What makes this 14in. Remington 870 (sold without stock or pistol grip) an AOW, while the Remington TAC-14 isn't? :? :?: https://www.capitolarmory.com/remington-870-police-aow.html https://www.remington.com/other-products/model-870-tac-14 The AOW has an overall length < 26".....the TAC-14 is >26", ...

Re: Rules for BST forums

Quick question...… Since the original selling price must be posted in the subject, and cannot now be changed, what if I realized I've "overpriced" my item and would like to reduce the selling price? If I can only modify or add to the body of the post, without changing the price in the subject line, ...

Re: Feds Demand Apple And Google Hand Over Names Of 10,000+ Users Of A Gun Scope App

Regardless of where you downloaded that app, leaving the country with it is just as much of an ITAR violation as purchasing night vision in the US and taking it abroad.

People need to start reading before clicking the "I agree to the terms and conditions" boxes.....

Re: Trump calls for Red Flag Laws again

Most gun owners call for what are essentially "red flag" laws after each shooting as well...… "how was he ever allowed to buy a gun " "why did they not investigate him" etc, etc...… Which way do you want it ?....."red flag" laws that may prevent shootings, or laws passed after a shooting has occurre...

Re: New felony: ATF now forcing federal registration of popular short rifles

It isn't a rifle if it has a "brace" on it......and they are measured differently since a "brace" isn't a stock...... There comes a point where it is actually simpler and cheaper to just pay the 200.00 for a stamp so you don't have to carry around a firearms-legality flow-chart explaining how your >...

Re: Bren MK I

The "buildability" of your Bren depends a lot on how it was cut........ some of the earlier kits were a little easier to build than the later guns. The most recent kits are pretty bad......cut thru the locking shoulder recesses, and butchered barrel socket areas. Midwest Metal Creations is a well kn...

Re: Anyone hit the new Shooters World in Orlando?

Rules, rules, rules..... 1st time I decided to go to the range in Tampa, I spent 20 minutes filling out paperwork.....then they didn't know how to deal with me because I didn't have a smartphone in my pocket to notify me when my "slot" was ready...….I normally don't take a phone to a shooting range....
