Re: Traveling to Deerfield Il.

I'm also going to be traveling thru IL (about 150 miles) and was wondering about taking my CCW handgun. I found this site: https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/resources/ccw_reciprocity_map/il-gun-laws/ This is down the page about half way: Q: Carry in Vehicle? Can you carry a concealed firearm in a veh...

Re: Lakeland Gun Show

Tons of cool old guns, but the only guns Thanks for the photos, What were the the other cool old guns you saw?? There were tons of Lugers, lots of old 1911's, one of those futuristic 9mm's (can't remember the name) that kinda looks like those Walthers from the 60's, and tons of long guns. I'm not r...

There was only one building?

I asked where you pay to get in about a second building and the guy said there was just the one. There were about 3-4 vendors in that "building" kinda right there selling Pelican cases, inert ammo and rockets, and a bunch of clothes.

Re: Lakeland Gun Show

I went this morning about 9:30 Looked around for about 45 minutes. Some of the aisles were starting to get packed with people when I was leaving. There was only one building and maybe five empty tables. It was mildly annoying getting hit up for raffles and the guy selling jerky or whatever it was be...

Re: I Need A Van!

I work with two guys living in vans...one has a 3/4 ton diesel and the other has a retired fiberglass body short church bus. Dude with the church bus says his bills are under $450 a month, not too bad. And his work schedule is three 12 hour days so he just goes where ever he wants for 4 days...

Re: Black tip 30-06 pricing

I had 400 rounds of 30.06 I sold about a year ago. 200 FMJ and 200 Black tip. I sold 24 rounds of FMJ in 3 clips at a gun show for $24.00, I kept 3 full clips of black tip for myself, and sold the remaining 352 to a friend of a friend for $175. Probably 75 of the 352 rounds had some corrosion. I've ...

He is always busy, so it might take a few weeks for turn around. Send him a message on Instagram, th...

Re: Language. Always a tough subject

It seems to me that the phpBB forum software that so many forums are using should have the profanity thing pretty well figured out by now...like just check a box in the control screen or something simple like that.
