Well, I guess it's 4 more years of destruction by the Biden regime.

Anyone have any idea who realistically has a shot at beating the communist/socialist party in 2024 ?
Seems like everyone hates Trump, now they hate DeSantis so who's left that's electable ?

It's getting harder and harder to see any difference between the two parties for anything but culture war nonsense. They both seem to be in lock step agreement that selling taxpayer funded resources to the highest bidder for a kick back is the way to go. The culture shit is just the red cape to distract the plebs. It wouldn't be so insulting, if they were at least getting a good price for their treason. But anymore a $2mil "campaign contribution" will buy a $20bil profit. Selling out the country for 0.01%

DeSantis is still electable, but he needs to get back to what he was doing his first 2 years, governing well. But if he keeps trying to be Trump the younger, or those two go head to head, he'll be bruised, bloody, and broken before the real campaign even begins.

I don't think DeSantis will run in 2024, he has not mentioned it to my knowledge.
If he does and looks like he will get the Republican nod, Trump will go 3rd party and give the socialists another victory thus insuring the end of America.

Almost like it was planned before the MSM started pumping Trump up in 2015. I wish to god Trump would do what's best for the country and withdraw, but his ego won't let him. Which leaves me hoping all those McDonalds meals will catch up to him before the primaries start. I feel like a cunt for that hope, but it is what it is.

That's how I think it will play out.

This abortion-mania is absolutely killing us. I am 100% against abortion, but I thought as a practial matter FL's previous 15 week rule was a good compromise, much better than the lib states that let you kill viable babies in utero (and maybe out of it). I know a young woman who just gave birth to a baby 9 weeks prematurely (about 2.5 lbs, as I recall). Sounds like a recipe for disaster, but that baby never had to intubated (just supplemental oxygen), and got out of the hospital a week before it was supposed to be born. Her mother dearly loves her. The thought of that baby being chopped up like a pot roast is sickening.

Not less than a half hour ago I got off the phone with a gun guy in the northeast--he manufactures holsters. I asked him if he was contemplating relocating to Florida like so many others from up there have. And I swear to Christ the first he he mentioned was why are they going crazy on the abortion laws in Florida. I guess he was coming at it from a libertarian point of view (although, like on immigration, libertarians are deeply divided on abortion). But that's all that gets played to the nation.

So it's done. DeSantis enters the frackas.

To me it's as simple as this. Individuals can be replaced, policies can't. Therefore I will vote for DeSantis in the primary. If Trump wins, then I would have no choice but to vote for that 12 year old, typical newyorker. That's a big if, because I don't think that he will come out unscathed from his legal problems. Which he makes worse by not having learned that, at times, it's prudent to shut your mouth. A defense counsel's worst nightmare.

As to DeSantis' policies, he will have to moderate his views, especially on abortion. That is not unheard of in politics.

Coincidentally, I listened to Tudor Dixon's brief podcast this morning, where she discussed get crucified on the cross of abortion by nuts in Michigan (she was the GOP candidate for governor last year). It was enlightening, and sad. Now things are worse than ever up there, a pure commie cuntocracy.

I believe, like St. Thomas Aquinas believed, that abortion is a sin only when performed after what he called "quickening" i.e., the baby "kicks" and the soul enters the body. Usually, the end of the first trimester. And he actually found support for it in the Bible. It became Catholic Church doctrine for a couple of years.
