Sounds like they're setting him up for a home invasion. And it also seems like his 'due process' has been violated. What was the search warrant for and how was it obtained. They're lawyers and they have legal representation. Sounds to me like they need to buy/borrow a firearm and sue the hell out of .gov.

I'm wondering if it's a "red flag" issue. I don't know the law in MO; haven't been reading the details on all this which, if from MSM are likely Bravo Sierra.

Exactly, what judge would sign a warrant to seize a gun when no charges have been filed after the seizure?

What was their reasoning?

that's why I asked about the "red flag" as all that's needed is an accusation, not even "charges".

What are the prospects of them getting the AR15 back if no charges are ever filed?

I know he can do that, and I applaud the store for offering to replace it for free.

But I was referring to getting their original weapon back from the police/Govt.

BTW, this case is being discussed on Fox & Friends, this morning.

I call bs on that no way should his AR have been taken away. Unfortunately here in Florida with Red Flag laws and me being in Polk county, it could be done 10X easier even though everyone seems to cream over Judge he has the highest gun confiscates in the county.
Everybody's got a plan until they get hit.

Lawyers PO judges all the time (on TV) maybe they did too.
