Was there damage to the shop?

Threw a cinder block through the front door and window. Windows were barred but the door hadn't been yet. It was scheduled to be barred the following morning. I have shutters and bars now.

In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

There is *nothing*, you, or anyone else is going to do to make something break in proof. I'm making every effort I can to make it harder...but when there's a will there's a way. I don't need it to be burglar proof, just need it to be harder to break into then the next guy down the road... [smilie=011.gif] there's other measures being implemented (that I'm not going to go into on a public forum), so they're going to have to be realllllyyyyyy committed to the cause to get in. And by the time they are in, the Calvary should be there.

check out www.burglarbomb.com

yep about all you can do is try and protect yourself from the smash and grab, and hope the alarm notifies the cavalry gets there quickly

I also notified my local 911 to put notes on the shop address, like multiple deputies to respond, officers use extreme caution and firearms on premises, that way when the call goes out and its a boring night you hopefully have more that 1 car enroute [smilie=011.gif]

yeah if you have cameras that you can watch remotely like from your phone, and its a false alarm I always call LE backon the non-emergency number, and give them the all clear, as not to take those deputies out of service that whole time, but those guys usually sit int he parking lot and B.S. for about 30 min after the fact

Just read where they caught the guy and you got everything thing back that's great news. I'm very happy for you. I hate it when a really good member here has something devastating like this happen to them.

Being robbed like you were especially the way you were with a new store and all. It play's on you both emotionally and physically. It's as bad as being raped and not knowing who did it. But now the little butthead is about to really get it good.

Congrats on getting everything back could not have happened to a nicer guy.
I mean getting the robber and getting everything back that is. Not getting burglarized [smilie=011.gif] [smilie=cheers1.gif]

Next time I visit my brother over in Port St. Lucie I'll swing by and check your store out. Might buy something to [smilie=pdt_xtremez_13.gif]

It had to have made a ton of noise cutting through that metal. It just amazes me how blatantly bold criminals are. They'll just do things sometimes right out in the open and people right around them will not say a word.

Anyways this is FANTASTIC NEWS and. Congrats again [smilie=cheers1.gif]
