Just think you could be in prison, just like trying to drive thru NJ. FOPA on a state level?
Wasn't this settled in 1987?

“We risk getting removed from office for even talking about it,” Kriseman said.
He says that like it's a bad thing. You SHOULD be removed from office for encroaching on peoples rights.

Excellent observation!

They can't win the gun debate in the courts or the voting booth, so they think they'll end run it and make it a PITA or worse for gun owners. They'll ultimately invalidate your carry permit in their jurisdictions, with a smug smile, ''Aren't we smart?''. Or, outlaw a type of rifle or pistol. Anyone who believes there won't be police conveniently stationed at major thoroughfares entering their jurisdictions, looking for any pretext (or, make one up) to stop and search, is delusional. Sarasota did that on I-75 about 15 years ago, just over a speed limit drop (for the purpose).

They should be removed from office for stupidity. As if criminals will be stopped by a law.

Hey Red—
Across the pond in the U.K., they’re having a hissy-fit over 55 murders in London so far this year, and other violent crime rates are through the roof. Of course you know their government already banned guns years ago, and wouldn’t you guess—the citizens are asking for more government “intervention”!
How stupid do you have to be to not understand it is the GOVERNMENT that is responsible for making people defenseless and unsafe?
When are Americans going to wake up and take note of this?

There's a bit of irony, there. I was going to add a remark to the sentence about criminals obeying laws. It would have been ''I have here a piece of paper....'' something quite associated with British history.
