Favorite hiking boots?

Post by neverenoughguns » Sat Mar 10, 2018 9:58 pm

I am looking to buy a new pair of hiking boots. They need to be waterproof and able to buy tomorrow. Suggestions? I was going to buy at Dicks buy based on their recent policy changes, I am less inclined to step foot into their store.

I have a pair of Vasque hiking boots. I would rate the A+.

My son and I use Raichle boots, Swiss made, very good.
These are a lifetime investment, the pair I have used since 1975 has been re-soled once, otherwise in fine shape.
But then I Googled around and found that Raichle is no more, the company merged with some other Swiss firm.
However, lots of Raichle boots on eBay.
