The writer is pro Bitcoin, anti everything else. But Bitcoins are just as vaporous and outside all legal protections as any other cryptocurrency. And just as likely to be wiped out by government action to protect its own currencies from loss of value, and its citizens from being swindled, if there is any significant harm from cryptocurrencies.

Well...if you would've plunked down $100k last night @ 3:30a when I reported the price, and sold this morning ($4226 as of now), you would have pocketed $4k.

If you don't mind me asking are you buying in and holding or are you still investing and doing that ever famous dollar cost averaging?

I am doing a little of both. I study the market caps every day. I research any coin I'm interested in. I look at graphs, charts anything I can find.

Example, today adex coin announced they are partnering w Neo. Price jumped up quite a bit. I invested $1000 sook as I saw it today and have already made $250.

Omg, MCO, ten x are what has made me the most. I identified them early on, invested heavily and made a small fortune.

I have learned to have enough cash standing by as well to be able to capitalize on any severe dips so as to maximize profit

Sorry I forgot NEO. I bought into NEO at $5 heavily. It's around $50 now. So please all the haters tell me when will my bubble burst? [smilie=popcorn.gif]

Bitcoin Crashes as Chain-Split Risks Increase

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin ... s-increase

Bitcoin fell below $1,900 today, from around $2,600, as the fast approaching August 1st deadline nears, seemingly considerably increasing uncertainty among traders and investors.

The currency has been experiencing a downtrend for much of June and July, falling from around $3,000 to just above $1,900 at the time of writing, with the downwards price movement seemingly accelerating in the past few days.

The main reason is probably because the currency’s more than two years long debate is to reach a conclusion on August the 1st when bitcoiners decide which way they are to go and how.

The picture is complex and confusing with many clients vying for the bitcoin brand, but they can largely be classified under the small blocks and big blocks umbrella with a third, middle of the way, segwit2x “compromise.”

On the small blocks end, there is Bitcoin Core and UASF which aim to activate segwit, but their relationship to segwit2x is not clear, with some suggestions they may be incompatible and might chain-split, while others suggest they would be in consensus.
About a month later now. Bitcoin cash is the split. It's around $300. Bitcoin is up to $4200. Some crash that was

It's a token currency introduced by Blocksafe, a Smart Gun foundation. Avoid!

Yes I did read that. Can't see a lot of adoption there in the gun community

There's a new documentary on Netflix re: Bitcoin. Very interesting & informative. Bitcoin started at something like $0.007 in 2009.

It's not too late to invest. So many other coins to make money off of.

Triggers went to $2.70 today. It's on it's way. They have had discussions w NRA and many other companies about partnerships

Oh, I'm in. Bought BTC @ $700, LiteCoin & Ethereum at a low price, too. Just wish I had purchased $100k @ .007! Y'all would be fanning me and feeding me grapes now. [smilie=011.gif]
