In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

this guy is in the < $ 20 price range , he asked me about a used holster at first [smilie=eek.gif] , he was carrying a G19 in one of those uncle mikes and said he wanted the same thing, just wondered what other options there were

In the gun shows there is typically this guy that sells the yaqui style clip holsters one can use IWB or OWB and runs about $10, or used to.

Spend $400+ on a gun and carry it in a cheap, thin, uncomfortable POS.. I will never get that.

I hear you... I used to do that, it is a rookie thing or maybe he does not pack that often. I have been i both places and then I was introduced to Kydex :-)
He will learn, maybe

I have a Crossbreed Minituck for my 42 and 43 and they work great. I wear it at 3 o'clock and I really don't notice that I'm wearing it much. I've tried others as well. Stealthgear makes nice holsters but I found that reholstering can be an issue as the backing flaps over. I have a Bravo Concealment Torsion holster for my 26 and that thing is awesome, really lightweight and it is secure as hell. If they ever make it for the 42 or 43 I'm gonna grab one of those. I also have an NSR Tactical for my 26 and it is pretty nice as well. I find that the loops on it print a little more than the clips on the Bravo Concealment but it's well made and they do make it for the 43.

I use to do the IWB but being a little heavy was uncomfortable. I switched to the sneaky pete carry which looks like a PDA case... The flap has two strong magnets and they remain closed even when riding my Harley...I carry a glock 27 40 s/w... just throwing an alternative out there...

Which is a copy of a Remora. (Still a nice holster though!)

I've been appendix carrying a 19 in a Remora for 3 or 4 years, and I've had numerous people after finding out I had it said "I had no idea you were carrying THAT!"

I've carried a Glock 30S in a Sticky every day for over two years now. Very comfortable.

N82 is super comfortable, you don't even know it's there. Downside is having to remove it to reholster. (I have the original).

Raven concealment vanguard. It's in his price range. I only use them for all my Glocks.

Can't go wrong with a PJ kydex holster. The entire holster is made from one piece of kydex, clip and all. Take a look at pjholster.com - right here is sunny Florida.

Remora is highly recommended. They have a variety of options as well. I carry a 1911 IWB with one. There is a special optional clip which allows the cant to be adjusted and the shirt tucked in. The top of the clip is small and discreet.

Always be careful to get a quality holster for a Glock. A Glock is at part-Cockadoodledoo and you don't want a finger or some article of clothing brushing the trigger: The trigger must be covered by the holster.

I just received my Vedder Holster (Mt. Dora company) called the LightTuck Kydex IWB for my G26. I highly recommend it. Metal Clip is height and cant adjustable, too. Plus it actually stays put on my jeans without a belt, that is how strong it is.

Check out user reviews on Youtube - that's what sold me.

Here is their website
