Does imgur have a "private" setting, like PB has?
The private setting only allows the pic I post to be seen, not any of the others.
.
There's a storm coming.

I use a pay service that I have used for years "ImageEvent". I am getting a great deal, for less than $30.00 a year I can store 6000 video and/or photo files with the premium package & large file support. I have never lost access and they have never had any loss or damage issues with my files.
When people ask me "do your dogs bite?", I tell them of course my dogs bite, all dogs bite. The question should be will your dogs bite me?

Personally, I don't believe in any kind of cloud storage for my own personal files/pics/data. I have no need to have them available external to my private network. And when/where I do, i take them on a USB drive. I have my own NFS system which I keep backed up. If I need to share an occasional pic or two, I use imgur.

I used to have a website of my travel pics, but I found people were ripping off the pics and using them for their own purposes, without compensation. I wasn't asking for compensation, and they weren't there for that reason. But, if someone wanted to use them for themselves, I sure wasn't going to give them away for free, either. The only way to stop it was to take the site down. There's no effective way to "protect" the pics. Anyone can "screen scrape" them.

You can use the photo search from Google to see if anyone is ripping your photos and using them on the net.

In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

1 - This is not a picture.
2 - The IMG tag is incomplete
3 - The link returns a 403 error.
