Saw a PBSO deputy on his laptop this morning...

Post by rob_s » Fri Mar 13, 2009 11:39 am

...stopped at a light where we could see right in his driver's side window. First glance, as he's coming to a stop, screen is open to something with a badge/star in the top right corner. Look over again, after he comes to a stop, and he's cruising facebook! He looks up and sees me and the 11 year old watching him, and quickly clicks back to the original star/badge page.

Busted! [-X

Actually I'm a bit surprised that a city/county/state agency hasn't blocked their access to "non-business related" internet sites. I know of city employees in one north FL city where this is true, but I also know that their buddies in IT can "fix" it for them to give them unrestricted access. [smilie=011.gif]

our laptops in the county i work for have unrestricted access to the internet... we just use a sprint card for internet and our MDT functions..but they can always check up on what you're doing because of the secure connection thingy we use. Dont ask me what or how.. i just know what im told :-k

Maybe you'll check out "a Youtube" on how not to jump to conclusions and make an ass out of yourself.

In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

That's nothing. I saw a group of firemen gathered around a computer at Jamba Juice arguing over red carpet fashions from the Oscars coverage,
