UCF campus cops?

Post by Orlando Paulitician » Wed Feb 27, 2008 7:25 pm

well, i first approached my cocern via contacting the training division of the UCF PD.

in the mean time, i can't hurt to ask questions.

are there any UCF campus cops, or people who would be close to one.

a friend told me that USF cops get to work around their class schedules if they are students.

i'm just curious if UCF is the same way?

Campus police are State officers working at the university they are at. It is typically a perk, that you may attend classes without tuition, but you have to pay for books.

Dont know anything about UCF but it is a State school so that much ought to be the same. That said, there have been budget cuts so the policies might be different and answered better by someone actually on the department.

Like Sidewinder said, most university police are real police officers first and then maybe students later. Not the other way around.
