Any St Lucie County/Martin County leos?

Post by molivo » Wed Feb 06, 2008 11:25 pm

Im looking into enrolling at the IRCC Police Academy. I have been told the process isnt as easy as just signing up for classes, but requires you take two test...The "Bat" and "Pat" test? I believe the technical terms are basic apptitude test and physical apptitude test. What all do they involve? Also, how long is the program itself?

I'm in the Process right now.

If you can pass the 9th grade, you can pass the CJBAT. It's self explanatory stuff, and it's not really study able.

The bat is a pain in the ass rw: but it's passable. I'm 5'8 254 and passed directly on 6, after walking 40 seconds of it because I almost gave up. Motivation and discipline, you will achieve a lot. I'm not proud of myself for the time, but everyone looks at it as a pass/fail situation.

You'll be speaking with the director of the program, Jo Beth Laycock, and things will be taken from there. I can give her, to call you if needed.

If you have any more questions, feel free to private message me.
