You're talking about Mike?
But without Mike Edd wouldn't have anything to fix.
Having been in the car business, it takes both kinds to be successful.
The guy who buys and sells and the guy who fixes them.
Two different types, but both are necessary.

I'm sure you are correct but the guy is an oaf and very unprofessional when talking to buyers.... so much so I image most are friends or family rather than real punters.

Last night's episode had a really neat car - Porsche 912E.
A four cylinder version of the 911.
Most sports car enthusiasts might not even know about it.
A very neat and rare one.
And not a car the other car shows would have, other than maybe Chasing Classic Cars.
But if Mike gains any more weight, he's not going to fit in some of the cars he buys any more than giant Edd does.

Yes I think lasted one production year or something like that ...... I would guess it was a bit under powered for the Yuppie market

How much did it sell for ?

I think Mike sold it for pretty close to the $35K he was asking.
But those "reality" shows are so fake, there's no way to tell.
My father had one of those, the earlier carburetor version, 1966 mebbe.
It was parked off the street in a parking lot and some drunk lost control of his car, hit a telephone pole, flipped, rolled and landed square on Dad's 912.
Squashed it just about flat.
Woe was he. [smilie=012.gif] [smilie=012.gif]

'65 - '69, then one year only in '76 (912E).
