I'd think you would be hard pressed to find a decent one at best. Just about every one I've dealt with has been a pile of junk.

Don't, just don't. My dad has one and it shuts off. Yes, stops at a light idles really low and shuts off. Take to the shop and runs ok... Few hours or days later, boom. Changed a few parts, plugs, coils, filters, and no luck....

Don't do it

Which motor does he have? The big V8 (5.7l?) is from a Dodge.

Never been impressed by chrystler. I had similar jeeps as rentals and they were pretty sad. Had a dodge ram "hemi" which was a real letdown. Uncomfotable seat, crunchy loose plastic interior bits. The "hemi" motor was a big letdown.

So a chrystler/dodge used i would say hell no.

Yeah, 5.7 2009, still shuts off on its own, all maintenance up to date, tech can not find whats wrong
