where's the cheapest place to get a 10/22

Post by Rentprop1 » Sat Oct 18, 2014 11:29 pm

I've been looking for a beater used 10/22 and no luck, I picked up a Marlin 60 ( the newer one ) from a FSN member about 18 months ago and it has sat in my closet ever since, I think it only has 200 rounds or less through it ( I only shot 10 ), was thinking of trading it, would you figure a beater 10/22 would be worth at least $ 150, cause thats what the Marlin goes for new at Wal-mart...need some thoughts figuring this out

I'm not really up on the 10/22, I do have the Ruger Charger, but I got it as a screw around host for a can and still never use it. #-o
In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

A new 10/22 is $220 at palmetto, sometimes a little cheaper. You wont regret it cause they are the ars of .22s. You are not gonna find alot people willing to trade a ruger for a marlin just fyi. Sell it and put the difference. You can checkout summitgunbroker.com he has some great deals on used when in stock.

Got mine at Dick's on sale for $189 a couple years ago.
I can explain it to you, but I cannot understand it for you.
