Governor Choice?

Post by weaselfire » Thu May 24, 2018 9:11 pm

I'm not sure I want anyone for governor this year. Pretty much, the Democrats are out. Not because they're Democrat, but because they seem to want to bankrupt me with one plan or another.

DeSantis has always been more interested in what benefits DeSantis over what benefits his constituents and he really doesn't have any values that match mine.

So that leaves Putnam. He sounds good, but I haven't seen anything stellar from him yet. He's a little hard to judge because most of his prior career hasn't been very well covered.

What say you?

Jeff

From those 3 options I’d take Putnam. You are right that we don’t really know him, but we do know how bad the others are, so Putnam deserves a chance to show us what he’s really about.

You're entirely correct.

It's really a shame.

As Commissioner of Agriculture, Putnam has streamlined the process of obtaining and renewing Concealed Weapons Licenses.

I'll probably vote for Putnam over these other jokers.

Putnam, definitely. Probably the only reason I'll even bother going to vote this year.

Oh if you are against him I will have to take a second look. Your political instincts have proven consistently wrong over the years--King Midas in reverse, as the old song goes.

Many on here told me how bad Trump would be when I voted for him to and he’s done great so far. I’ll be ignoring all the establishment voters again and going w the GOP candidate I like best

It goes down to electability. I like Putnam but with Trump throwing support behind DeSantis, Putnam might have a steep hill to climb. Finally, anyone but a Democrat. They are all wolves and not in sheep’s clothing anymore.

Exactly, I’m voting Desantis in the primary but whomever wins the primary I’ll be voting for. I’ll cut my dick off before I vote for a democrat
