Teachers should not be armed

Post by knite7 » Sun Mar 25, 2018 1:47 pm

I keep hearing this from all these new 17 year old "celebrities". Maybe they should spend more time on the internet and less time marching.
Below is a list of States that allow some variant of campus carry. Some allow anyone with a CCW to carry, others need a CCW and written permission from the principal. Some go back 25 yrs, many go back 15, 11 and 10 yrs.
You never heard this? Why? Because there's never been a problem. No blood in the streets, wild west shoot outs or people of color being assassinated by their teachers.
It is sad that we must consider "hardening" our soft targets, BUT we must live in the times as they are, not what we wish them to be or how they should be. Look at the facts. 98.4% of all mass shooting happened in "gun free zones". Schools, churches, movie theaters, military compounds, govt. offices. (FBI CDC statistics) A coincidence? Maybe they should look at the facts, rather than an article they read, or what they FEEL or ....?
Alabama Alaska Arizona Connecticut Delaware Hawaii Indiana Iowa Kentucky Maine Maryland Minnesota Montana New Hampshire Ohio Oklahoma Pennsylvania Rhode Island South Dakota Vermont Virginia Washington West Virginia
"when the enemy is in range ... so are you".
