Understood your point.
I just like watching your posts sprouting wings and flying over the heads of many.

Agree and I really do not find any humor in it.

Anyone here read the NYT?
Unfortunately I only have access to reprints in other papers and only 10 articles per month direct because i refuse to pay them a cent. I get the Washington Post online free because of a deal they have with our local paper. My motto is "Know thine enemy."

And I lost faith in the general news media many years ago. The Washington Post supposedly had a dedicated military reporter, with all sorts of connections at the Pentagon, but I never read a single article mentioning any of our aircraft programs that didn't contain major errors! They'd ignore big money wasting scandals and then print stuff directly in contradiction to DOD and Congressional reports and the facts.

I have no doubt they do exactly the same on other subjects where I don't have inside information. It's mostly ideology and prejudices, the facts be damned!

To get at the truth you have to read and analyze multiple sources, ferret out ones close to what is really happening, discarding the obvious lies, mistakes and internet hot air.

If I still lived in Cuba I would subscribe to them since we didn't had toilet paper.
