Taurus "The Judge" 4 inch bbl.

Post by JJ » Wed Jul 13, 2011 7:59 pm

Awhile back I bought a Taurus 4" bbl 2 /12'. I thought that someone just cut down the bbl, but when I called Taurus and gave them the ser. # they told me that it was a special order and only about 2000 were made.
Was wondering if anyone else out there has one?

haven't heard of that one, but if I were going to get one to carry in the woods that's what I'd want. I like that.

I've never heard on that, do you have a pic? Does it have the regular size grip? I have the "public defender" model with the 2.5" barrel, which is the barrel length i like, but i wish it had a fullsize grip like the regular judge instead of the shortened grip.

I can't post pic here. But it looks just like any 2 1/4 ss Judge but the barrel is a inch longer.

I saw a pic of one in one of the latest gun mags...it's pretty sweet (not to mention big!)
