Decent guns for the money. From what I've read the older ones are tanks.
Tarpon... everything else is just bait.

I had one. It went bang every time it was supposed to. I don't know that I'd shoot 100's of rds through it all the time, but it was reliable.

+1..... i had a stainless .38 5 shot Chiefs special copy for about 10years from the mid '80's to the mid '90's and shot 2-300rds thru it during that time with 100% reliability. In case you don't know, Rossi merged with Taurus and they are in Miami. Call and see if it is covered under the lifetime warranty, if so i would say it's a no-brainer, if not it is still a good deal at $250 or less with shipping and transfer included IMHO.

For under $200, why not.

Rossi's, atleast the older ones, are good from what I've heard. Can't stand it though when people want S&W prices for Taurus/Rossi clones of the same model. <$200 is a very good price but when people ask $350+ for a used one I don't understand it.

I had an older snubnose and I liked it but eventually traded it on something else because it was not rated for +P ammo. Regular 38 ammo is pretty weak especially out of a snubbie.

A good buy. The naysayers are ones that have never owned one or like to repeat something they read by someone else,so their oppinion matters not.

The older Rossi and Taurus revolvers are indeed tanks, and will still be going strong long after some of the newer S&W's I have seen need servicing.

The aesthetics are sometimes lacking, but they will go bang everytime,so it is a good tradeoff IMO.
Well then get your s';t together.
Get it all together. And put it in a backpack. All your s';t. So it’s together. And if you gotta take it somewhere, take it somewhere, you know, take it to the s';t store and sell it, or put it in a s';t museum, I don’t care what you do, you just gotta get it together.
Get your s';t together.

as I understand it, if it's marked "Interarms", it's no longer covered by the warranty. If it's marked "Braztech", it is. Regardless, I wouldn't let that stop me. I had an older Interarms marked Rossi .22 revolver that was a great little shooter...another in a long line of guns I regret letting get away ](*,)
