Is this fixable?

Post by oldschoolersp101 » Wed Apr 01, 2015 12:49 pm

My neighbor dropped his Derringer on concrete yesterday and broke the hammer off #-o

I took it apart the best that I could, but I couldn't get the other half of the hammer off. Before I spend too much more time messing with this, is it even worth it? I couldn't quickly locate spare parts on Google and wondered if parts for this gun are even still available. Thoughts?

Probably not worth it. My friend bought one of the really cheap ones in 22lr, and it broke within 500 rounds. I think Bond makes the only one that has any durability.

unless your friend has an emotional attachment to it, tell him he is better off trading it in for a new pair of kicks at the next buyback
