Only thing standing in the way of rug having the best gun photos is no gun photos with naked college girls. [smilie=011.gif]

Latest acquisition.
I am old enough to love "cowboy" single action type guns.
They were a huge part of the TV shows and movies I watched as a young boy.
This particular model is chambered in .357 which was created in 1934 according to Wikipedia, so not exactly a cowboy round.
And it has adjustable sights which also makes it not exactly a cowboy gun.
Oh well.
Regards,
Jon

Wanted to post a few photos of some of my guns. I enjoy shooting all of them, but the .22lr I take to the range the most. The 351PD was my pocket carry, I just made an upgrade last week to a new Ruger LCR .38 special. I need to take more photos.

I also want a 629 classic with a 5 inch barrel, but I need to save a little longer for that one..

Nothing like a 686 to make your day that much better.

Mike,
Here is my 4" version of your gun:

Same grips only one inch shorter on the business end.
I seem to always be 1" shorter than the previous guy according to my ex'es.

Picked up an Iver Johnson Supershot 8 at the last Lakeland gunshow. Not in the best shape cosmetically, but the bore is nice and the function is perfect. Thinking about using it for my first rust blue project.
