Open carry in North Carolina

I'm getting ready for a trip to NC. Going to be doing a one night hike and camp in the great Smoky mountains. I wanted to see if anyone knew if it was ok for a non resident to open carry. I know I can conceal carry with my fl cwp.

I've had zero issue in nc.Just beware of the gun buster signs, schools, state bulidings and your mostly good to go.

I plan on concealed carry in town, and open carry while hiking and camping in the smokies
