Best burgers I've had are CheeBurger CheeBurger in Naples and Fudd Ruckers (Nat'l chain) wherever the hell it was (used to travel a lot for business). 5 Guys is good, but sooo expensive...

When I lived in Pompano back in the 1980s, there was a place on the Pompano-Tamarac border (maybe on McNab somewhere?) called Roosters. Real old country place with terrific hamburgers. Anyone know if it's still there?

le tub puts out a good burger but 45 minutes ti get a hamburger!gimme a break!they can slaughter the cow in that time.help has a real attitude a lot of the time too

Closed down not long ago. It was on Rock Island and Southgate, I think.

I used to think BackYard Burgers in Altamonte was good,
Five Guys was just ok,
But last week I ate at Grand Lux Cafe at the Sawgrass Mill and man that SOB bacon burger filled me up,I thought it was Man vs. Food [smilie=011.gif]
I recommend you trying it out.

Le Tub is okay but watch out for the birds overhead. Bird poop is not an acceptable condiment for me.

I know! That pissed me off a bit. Why the f/;k won't they invest into umbrellas for every table? That is a easy and cheap solution.

I really like Grand Lux's Burger Melt. Cheesy goodness.

They're fast food, but I'd really like Jack in the Box to open some restaurants in Florida. Replacing Hardees with Carl's Jr would be good too.

Jack is in Louisiana and South Carolina, so they're practically next door. It probably doesn't cost them any more to run national ads that coincidentally cover Florida than it would to intentionally omit Florida. I'm surprised a major franchisee hasn't lined up to open some locations in Florida.

That's not a fair comparison. Homemade ALWAYS is better. 5 Guys is awesome for a fast food restaurant.
