Favorite Holiday drink recipes ?

Post by Jeepsnguns » Sat Dec 20, 2014 6:38 pm

Anyone have any good holiday drink recipes you would like to share with the class?

This time of year I buy Publix low fat eggnog to mix with Bacardi light rum and give a sprinkle of nutmeg for color and flavor.
A glass full of ice, 1.5 oz Bacardi, 3 oz. eggnog, mix vigorously (pour back and forth from one glass to another) and then sprinkle a touch of nutmeg on top.
Having one right now....very good. [smilie=pdt_xtremez_30.gif]

For the ultimate mojitos you gotta use Cruzan Citrus Rum.

Most favorite of late:
The Boulevardier-
I oz. bourbon ( Buffalo Trace, of late) Eagle Rare also does in a pinch.
1oz. Martini and Rossi red vermouth
1oz. Campari
Shake on ice cubes, strain into chilled rocks glass.
Enjoy

Not specifically a Holiday recipe, but one that will do.

I don't know what to call this, but I'm sure it has an official name in a Mixology book somewhere.
one part vodka, one part coffee liqueur and one part cream liqueur. Shake to blend with crushed ice. Pour/strain into frozen tall vodka shot glass. I use Kailua and Bailey's Irish Cream.

My favorite drink.

3 parts The Macallan Fine Oak 21
1 part soda
1 part lemon juice
Cubed ice

In a tumbler add the scotch to the ice, discard soda and lemon juice. Enjoy!
