Gun Show Glock Guy

Post by jim640 » Fri Sep 09, 2016 7:47 pm

See a few of them at most of the shows installing sights. Would anyone know: can they install high sights on my g19 to cowitness with my red dot? Maybe someone can give me contact info. Thanks. /:f

He shows up at the Orlando shows. I always bring my Glocks to him to work on. Really nice guy and you won't find anyone more skilled and quicker with Glocks

Great video. Any recommendations on a good glock front sight tool and rear sight pusher? I see em on Amazon quite a bit just have no experience with which ones are good or which are s';t

Sorry, no...not a "Glock guy". I typically go to Brownell's and research tools there before buying. They have reviews from actual purchasers which are helpful. Once I find something, I'll go between Brownell's, Amazon, Ebay & Gunbroker to shop prices.

Fair enough. I've found a magnetized front sight tool on Amazon already for $8. Now just gotta research a decent sight pusher. These two tools and some locktite will pay themselves off after a few uses

I have a maryland gun works glock sight pusher MGW and got a little front sight tool off ebay also. Very easy to do! I have done a few HD's and they are a breeze.

So I have a question. Using this how do you know when your rear sights are centered? I actually had Oliver put a set of trijicon HDs on mine and he has them more to the left installed.
I wa a shooting way left at 15 and 25 yards when I shot the 19 w the sights so now it makes sense why. Looking at the sights he put on its very clearly flushed more to the left

Greg, changing glock sight is real easy. I learned from this video. Just take your time and with in 1 hour you will be done. Change one change all glock sights. Now SW m&p sights are a little tougher as in they are tighter in the groves and can be a real pain in the ass.

I usually can get very very close with the rear by just eye balling it being centered. There are some that actually have measurements on the tool and that helps line them up easier. It literally takes a few minutes once you need to make an adjustment as long as you have the tool with you. Front sights are very easy, but that screw can be a pita to get started sometimes.
