New member, LOOOOOONG time lurker and all I can say is that G34man is a stand up guy. Cannot say the same for Khalid and his business etiquette....

You do realize this was from 8 months ago right?

:)

Welcome aboard BTW, I got a bit excited when I saw the title of this thread as I thought I'd have to wait 'till April, then I saw the date of the original post.

I see the time stamps. Its funny though because I have personally seen Khalid treat people rudely, including staff at gun shows. Hes no "hero" by any means. Good business man, no doubt.

Personally the only gun show I've stopped going to is the one at Ft. Lauderdale, and that's because of logistics. I hate driving that far when the Miami ones are right near my house, the aisles are too narrow, the venue it too dark, the hall is too crowded, and to top it all off, parking sucks and you have to pay for it.

I have started going to the free one at Micosukee, but so far my feeling has been that you get what you paid for. I notice most of the vendors at this one are different than the vendors at the other shows, which might have to do with these issues with the promoters.

I tend to like going through the used parts/mags tables though so I'm not usually there looking for a great score on a new gun.

The pay parking at Ft. Lauderdale has been gone for about a year now. And while the building isn't as roomy as Miami, many people who live in North Broward, or Palm Beach prefer to drive to the War Memorial, than drive to Miami. It is what it is. GARY

IMHO the Fort Lauderdale show has the best assortment of merchandise, so I tend to hit that one.
