Team Tactics…who needs it? Short answer is everyone that carries a gun around people they love or care about. It’s not just for “cops or high speed security operators” in fact “Joe and Jane Average” concealed carrier are probably those that need it the MOST.

Let’s be objective about it, what tactics are you deploying WITH your armed or unarmed significant other / loved one, when your worst nightmare materializes? If you have both trained and practiced your reactions and tactics, you will work together to increase your chances of success, in effect your training becomes a force multiplier. If on the other hand you think just having your pistol along with the mindset of “I will rise to the occasion and be the sheepdog”….it’s not going to go well for you.

In fact you’re not only kidding yourself, but you are putting the lives of your loved ones in even greater danger. Think of all the potential scenarios in your life that you feel deadly force maybe needed. Now add the variable of other people (loved ones, partners, etc) that have NO plan, NO training, NO clue what to do…How is that going to end. Now visualize the same scenario with BOTH of you acting in unison, both knowing exactly what to do, how to communicate, which direction to move! You tell me, which version of events looks better in your mind? Turn that idea into well practiced skills and have a great time learning how to do it!
