Need local Beretta Gunsmith recommendations in Central FL

Post by cal45 » Wed Apr 11, 2018 10:11 am

Can anyone recommend a Beretta proficient Gunsmith in the Orlando area?
I have two 92 compact slides - one is a G Decocker only (Cen tac), the other is FS (safety/decocker) and would like to have them swapped.

Appreciate any help.

I can tell you that work sucks, buy an extra set of the pins and spring , just in case, you'll almost need to replace those tiny little roll pins anyways
In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

Thanks, Rent
Some of the folks on the Beretta forum are saying there are minor differences in the slide cutouts between a FS and G model 92. It allows a FS to G conversion but not so from a G to a FS.

Appreciate the tip but I think I'm going to stand down on this as it is not a like for like swap and I rather not risk damage.
I will keep my Cen Tac slide as is. Right now it is wearing the new compact slide that I just received.
