Post by NonConformist » Wed Apr 20, 2016 7:02 pm

Anyone know anything about him? He's on SWFWMD board which makes me dislike him, modest upbringing to rich builder, may have said he was born in Cuba but was born in miami

I'm not voting for him. He was appointed to the Sarasota Airport Authority Board and I never cared for him then. He also sued Manatee County over their denial for him to build a massive development adjacent to protected waters on the intercoastal. If he gets in, I can only assume he will be on the side of developers and what we have now (or had in some cases), will be replaced with endless developments.

A long time political contributor (briber) pretending to not be a politician. Nope.

So far his big notice came when he called Barack Obama an animal.

So not particularly bright :ham'r

Beruff enters born in Cuba on voters registration, actually born in Miami (Cuban parents). Misrepresentation on a voters registration is a class 3 felony/$5k fine/5 years in prison. Supervisor of elections, Bennett, (who is no prize either) says Beruff probably thought it said ethnicity. So is he careless, can't read, honest mistake, or what?

He's trying to capitalize on the "Trump" effect.

He's a developer.
In other words scum

Looks like this dude draws lots of hate!
Just because he's a developer?
Or is it something else?
I see no reasons to just despise the dude just because he's a developer, I actually think is a positive thing since it creates thousands of jobs that we always need.

He's a boring, non-entertaining and poor quality imitation of Trump. An establishment power broker pretending to not be a politician. [smilie=011.gif]

It's not the developing part that's the problem = that's a big plus for our economy - but my unpleasant experiences with developers has been that unless you have the resources to sue the bejeezus out of them you can't depend on what they sign up for, much less promise to do verbally.
