I just spoke to my local Publix manager. He would have told the protestors to leave the store, or be arrested for trespassing. Publix did not give Putnam $ because he is pro NRA. They gave him $ because he is “best for THEIR business”. GARY.

The little turds do not realize that Publix has supported many dummocrats in the past. Kinda bit their noses off to spite their faces............all because of some chicken sandwiches given to Putnam functions. This the upcoming generation of Tide pod eating, condom snorting, arm burning idiots that will be voting.................

A very close friend worked for them many years ago intheir plany in Lakeland. She was leaving work and slipped on floor where they hd dumped water outside the freezer. Publix screwed around for a long time before she had to give up and sue. They sent her to two different doctors and both said oh, just a little swelling. Yeah right. An outside doctor did an MRi and found the rotator cuff ssheared off. Cost her over 15 grand to get the surgery. Just what pubix settled for.

You can imagine what our feelings are for them. Lots of stories out there just google them. To this day no one in our families will ever set foot in a pubics again!

This is how almost every company in existence treats it's employees, though.

Correct. Employees are, at EOD, "expendable." There will always be others taking their place.

My mother has a legit permanent back injury sustained from slipping and falling due to negligence while working for Morton Plant Mease doing office paperwork. They dragged it out in the same way because of the workers comp process everyone uses to save themselves money. And she had to suffer in pain, because the WC doctors wouldn't dispense narcotics. Lawyer told her it was pretty much too late to sue. Yep, a hospital/healthcare company treated an employee the same shitty way...

So what’s the problem? They paid her medical bill. GARY.

Yes, but they owe her lost income and possibly retraining. When I got hurt at work, I got a lawyer on it fast. Got my own doctors, pain pills that actually work, disability payments. You have to fight for what you're legally entitled to or else the employer will just f/;k you.

Problem is they should have fixed it. She should have gotten workers comp for the time she was out and then went back to get job after she healed.

Instead she got another job and they lost a great worker.

I understand they have to protect themselves from the hoards of people that abuse the system. Sad it is that way but if they are going to shoot of about how well they treat employees they should back it up. Of course big businesses do seem to be team by hypocrites.
