Between this and the new private sale law it is good to see Orlando is taking the lead in Communism in this state. I was getting bored with Broward always in the lead.

this technology has come a long way in the last 5 years, ever since it was tested during the Boston Marathon Bombing
In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

I don't like Disney or Universal, so this gives me more reason to never step foot in Orlando again. It's mind boggling to me how the citizens just lay down and let them do this. Why bother with a 4th Amendment?

Ah, but that's how it's done. "For your protection'' (the nanny, ''It's for your own good''). Incrementalism, scientifically advanced by a warped Hegelian Dialectic.

I saw an interview with a refugee from the Balkan wars of the 90s, in which he described the creeping incrementalism which led to more controls, progressing from "For your own good..'' to ''You will...'' It's looking like a mirror image.

BTW, not much you can do legally as they are on public property, similar to laws on taking photographs. License photos? State property. There's a message in there somewhere.

This is just the first you've heard about it from one city. They've been doing it for a long time now.

Is this what passes muster for the 4th amendment now?

- everywhere our smartphone goes is tracked in many ways
- everywhere our car w/ toll transponder goes is tracked
- some places photo the car license plate when it passed certain checkpoints
- everything we do electronically is tracked and recorded
- walking through certain public areas gets our face recorded
- everything we buy and have delivered by a shipper is recorded
- all the phone call data is recorded
- all public records from all possible sources are collected on each of us for Fusion Center analysis

Many of you might be amazed at how many retail stores are using this in their Lost Prevention Departments.

I've read that Target has it for sure, and they share data nationwide internally.

Hey, officer - I'm just avoiding skin cancer. Or, how about I just don't like to be tracked and spied upon when I'm out in public doing nothing illegal?

Does that apply to motorcycles or just laxly enforced? I seen a bunch of riders with face masks when they don't have full head helmets.

Well - true, but I expect to be surveilled in a bank. Or a courthouse, or a football stadium. It's when I'm out in the open air, minding my own bidness, that I get a bit resentful of those that don't mind theirs.
