Ever hear of cash? You know, that mostly green, crinkly when new, paper stuff that people will accept in payment for everything?

This is just a part of the urban elitist leftist effort to alienate gun owners and most of middle America. And the fools don't know what they are really doing, just following the latest Progressive fad.

I actually had a Wells Fargo credit card. Everytime I bought anything that was related to guns. From say, powder valley or other places like that. Wells Fargo would lock my credit card WITH a fraud alert.

Now with Wells Fargo I just could not call them up and say hey this was a legit purchase. I had to actually go to a bank.

Sit and wait to speak to someone. Give them my info and have them call the fraud dept then put me on the phone for them to unlock my credit card.

I ASKED them why this keep happening. They kept giving me a B.S. reason. I said look at my history. I've bought from them many times in the past. Along with these other companies that were associated with guns.

Oh yeah this all started after that POS BLACK MUSLIM TRAITOR THAT GOT INTO THE OVAL OFFICE BY FRAUD. Start his attack on gun owners and ordered banks to go after gun deals. Wells Fargo went over board with it.

After the fourth lock on the card. I called them up. Said hey look you need to unlock this credit card. Here's all my info. I'm not going to a damn bank again. Your fraud dept can look and see I've bought from this company. With my info I'm giving you. You I can prove it's me.

You can also see that you just unlocked me two weeks ago from buying from the same company. I've not used this card since then either. I used it at this company and you locked it. Your locking it everytime I buy at gun stores.

Sir we are not doing that. Yes you are this is the only charge I've put on the card. You lock it everytime I use it to buy gun related items. I asked if he was going to unlock the card. He said. I needed to go in. I stopped him right there and were nuts.

I told him he could take this card and shove it up his lieing ass ect..ect.. sir you can not talk to me that way. I just did. What the F are you going to do about it bitch cancel my card FO cancel it. I hung up. I think I've never been that mad at a company before. I absolutely lost it. But 4 locks in 7 weeks is B.S.

They still did not CANCEL the card. I did not reactivate it either. For 6 months before they finally canceled it for no activity.

Speaking of which I need to close my accounts and get my direct deposit moved to a new bank. That's why I've not switched banks is because with direct deposit it's a pita to get things done anymore without a screwup. I was looking at moving to CHASE.

I have an acct at a credit union but they are not state wide other wise kiddo everything with them.

That’s strange. I’ve bought plenty of guns at Shoot Straight, used my Wells Fargo CC, & never had a problem. I find when I go to the store, I’m not looking for anything in particular, but there will be a golden oldie in the used section, & I didn’t bring cash. I never had my CC locked because of a SS purchase, but I pay my CC balance in full every month. I don’t know if that makes a difference. So I have no problem with Wells Fargo. GARY.

Banks and CC companies want to know about your gun purchases

I’d pay attention to firemedic’s story. That will be the norm if the banks get their way and abolish physical currency. It’s already happened in India, where 90% or better daily transactions are done in cash. Eliminated the two largest bank notes in wide circulation. It created havoc there.

The last gun I bought was with my VISA, issued by my credit union.
They can barely figure out how to operate a credit union, not sure guns even are on the list of things they care about.
Haven’t used a bank since the 1970’s, don’t miss them.

We have to remember the the anti-gun crowd is very deep and well connected and they will do anything to further their agenda, and their cause. We are all beholden in someway to big business and big banks. This is a fight that is going to be a long and entangled on many fronts. We will need all the help we can get.

Once the anti-gun crowd outnumber the pro-gun crowd, the democratic process will turn the laws against us...and I’m sure we will comply like the law-abiding citizens we always claim to be. How’s that for irony?

I agree. I'd used that wells Fargo card numerous times to buy gun products. Now to be clear it was not on every transaction. It was only with certain companies. Maybe Wells Fargo had the companies tagged and when I bought from them they tagged my credit cards as being a suspicious transactions.

One company and every single time I bought anything from them they'd lock my credit card. It was Powder Valley. I reload alot and I'd bought from them many times in the past. Then all of of sudden they started locking my card everytime I bought there. This was after Holder and the Black Muslim guy that some how got elected as President, you know the one jj voted for [smilie=011.gif] issued some crap to banks about dealing with hookers sorry rent [smilie=011.gif] [smilie=033.gif] and gun dealers ect....

I knew Powder Valley was one of the companies they tagged me on because after they unlocked my card. I did not use that card for a few weeks. Then bought some powder, bullets and primers. Within an hour I went to the cigar store to buy cigars went to use that credit card and bam it was locked.

Called them up they said a suspicious purchase was made. SUSPICIOUS PURCHASE I asked what and that time the guy on the phone did say it was Power Valley. I said I did make that purchase what was suspicious about it. If you check my PURCHASE HISTORY which is what you should have done you'd seen I'd bought there many many times. His answer was I DO NOT KNOW.

I gave him all my personal data and my secret code and said unlock my card. He said I'd need to go into the bank to get it unlocked. I asked then wtf did you ask me for all of that info if you weren't going to unlock my card. Further more why can't you unlock it. I gave you all of my secret codes and info. No good answer. Said I kudt go to bank and sit with a rep then GIVE HIM THE SAME INFO TO GET THE CARD UNLOCKED.

Which I did right then. But it did not stop there. They locked it several more times in the next two months for other things to do with guns.

But get this twice more in 7 weeks from just buying at POWDER VALLEY AFTER I'D TOLD THEM I BOUGHT THERE AND THERE WAS A BUYING HISTORY THERE. But all transaction they would tell me about. It depended on who I got when I called. Some would tell me, while others would not. I bet you the guy that told me who, what, when and where did not agree with what was being done.

That's when I went berserk on there asses. As a matter of fact next week I'm moving all my money from them and starting the paper work to change my direct deposit. That memory just ticked me off. CHASE seems and I say SEEMS more pro gun at the moment. That's the problem. With direct deposit and not getting your checks. I do not like so much online or not being given a choice rather.

The only reason I had not moved is because WF is all over the state when I travel I can find a bank pretty easily. I transfer funds from WF to my Credit Union though. I wish my Credit Union was state wide

Mine, too. Mainly because I get a 2% total cash back from my Citi Mastercard by paying it off in full every month, so I charge EVERYTHING. Never had a problem, the last flail being with Bank of America many years ago. But if Citi gave me any crap I'd drop them in a minute and use a different card - a day hardly goes by without one of those "You have been approved" letters and I sometimes sign up just to get the cash bonus or goodies they hand out like the $150 plus an Amazon Echo Dot from TD Bank, for some minimum charges on the card in 3 months.

I suspect all the deals are because they are getting a ridiculous return from the people unwise enough to carry a balance. For a bank 16.24% on a credit card balance sure beats 4.5% on a 30 year mortgage. And the 24.99% on cash advances? Those banks should be flying a black flag with skull and crossbones! In the face of huge profits like that these urban elitist anti-gun policies are likely to be strictly short term, for publicity, forgotten as soon as convenient, especially in the face of push-back from us. That pushback seems to have been anticipated as Citi has stated their concern is only for illegal firearms sales and Wells Fargo has done nothing (not that I'd have anything to do with them anyway after their screwing so many customers).
