First day open and shop is burglarized that night...

Post by molivo » Tue Apr 17, 2018 7:37 am

So yesterday was the shops first day open. Light night I get a call from my security company saying there's an intrusion alarm...I say send the police because it's a gun store and nobody should be there. Cops arrive a few moments later, guy had apparently already split. He managed to steal about 100$ worth of ammo...apparently he thought the two huge safes were just for show. =:wvr

I guess if I was a thief maybe I would think a new shop might not have their crap together on Day One. Glad you proved them wrong.

Yea without going into too much detail by the end of the week they'll need a weapon of mass destruction to get in...

Unbelievable. Sorry, to hear the bad news. Any cameras in the store or plaza? I hate people that do stuff like that, trying to get something for nothing, lousy thieves. Gonna try to make it over there later in the week.

Sorry about your loss - [smilie=021.gif]
Years ago a friend had his store broken into through the cement block wall.
No doubt there's better security equipment now than then, though.
A tire store next door lost a lot inventory due to the thieves coming down through the roof.
I've had two businesses robbed just by the thieves kicking in the door.
One door was a steel reinforced one.
Glad I didn't run into whoever got through that one.

I hate damn thieves. It is so demeaning to be broken into even if you only have very little stolen. It's just the fact someone violated your property. Really sorry you had to go through this crap and on your 1st day of being open to.

He burglarized a pawn shop behind my building as well. It's a matter of time before he gets caught . And it won't happen again. By the end of this week he will need a weapon of mass destruction to get in 😁

Sure hope they catch that thieving bastard soon. I’ve got no use for anyone unwilling to work for what they need or want.

True [smilie=011.gif] let's lock him in a truck with a trunk monkey. I'd forgotten all about those
