This. Means binary triggers too. ASKING.... this will get challenged you can not take personal property without compensation. Those binary triggers cost upwards of 500.00 in some cases.

That's like telling people to throw 500.00 in the garbage. This is bullshit and out of hand.

Still has the hurdle of passing in the State House. Another thought, if it does not have age restrictions will Scott even sign it? My opinion is Scott is posturing to gain the moderate vote as he has further political ambitions. He may poo poo the fact that the legal age to purchase a gun isn't raised to 21, but sign the bill with reservations as something is better than nothing. Then he can argue to the masses that he tried to get the age restrictions in.

Worse yet it could be abused to cover any number of modifications or accessories. It’s very broad wording.

There is also something along the lines of baker act style firearm confiscation in there.

Some of the wording is bad as in if it does pass we are getting so rear ended its not even funny. For instance, the bump stock has wording of, possession. That means ypu cant even take it outside to freaking shoot. I got the live feed on my phone and watching to see what gets voted on.

Any validity to this? Read it on "the 'net"... :-k

Now is the time for ALL Florida gun owners to call their representative. This bill WILL effect you. Don't allow this to happen on your watch.

The Senate passed Bill 7026 which included language for "any device that increases the rate of fire". Which can include muzzle devices, trigger work, you name it. Yes, that custom sear for your 1911 or "minus connector" for your Glock would be included in the ban based on the language.

The "Assault Weapons" language that would have outlawed EVERY magazine fed semi-automatic rifle- INCLUDING the Ruger 10-22 and Marlin 795, was voted down....three times-then added back in AFTER the bill passed. Also added back in after passage is limiting magazine capacity to 10 rounds.

Make no mistake, if this gets to Governor Scott's desk, he will likely sign it. The only way to prevent that is to spend a five minutes to write and call and tell them you"oppose any new gun control". Right now the focus is on the House and the Governor's office. But that could changetomorrow.

Do NOT rely on "Republicans have the majority." Seventeen out of 23 Republicans voted IN FAVOR of more gun control just yesterday!

I agree they can't order people to destroy personal property or Surrender it without compensating them for it. And if they do it's going to get challenged in court.

This WE TRIED CRAP IS GETTING OLD and people are getting tired of it.

People are getting tired of being the scape goats for these ruling class elites to hit on voters/American's rights and say WE TIRED.

I have a very strong feeling come election day. That most of these political leader that voted yes for these gun control measures.

Just might be out a JOB . Because of their inept ability to represent THEIR constituents properly.
I hope the door knocks them squarely on their assets on their way out to.

These attacks on INNOCIENT American gun owners is getting beyond ridiculous.

Also when the denounce the NRA. They are not denouncing just a organization. These idiot's are denouncing millions of innocient gun owning Americans who have not or would not ever hurt a soul. Blaming them for these mass murders.

Instead of accepting responsibility or should I say their lack of responsibility for their inactions, failures to act. These government agencies we find out, after the fact. Usually had more than enough info and time to prevent most of these attacks yet failed. Instead they blame Americans.

This has become the new norm. The after the fact policing force.

I know it has been discussed in other threads but he did not have a bump stock or high capacity magazines. Nothing I have read has mentioned the .223/5.56 ammunition as a culprit? Without bullets the gun is useless. I am certainly not advocating age limits on bullets but our wonderful lib leaders are just trying to demonize things that were not part of the shooting to advance their own agendas without any consideration for the 99.99% of responsible gun owners. I hope they all get V.D. from Wasserman-Shultz.

CALL!!!
TODAY IS THE DAYCALL EVERY MEMBER OF THE FLORIDA HOUSE
This may seem stupid to many, but we now have multiple confirmations that groups from *outside* Florida are calling our representatives to push gun control.
It does not matter if you get a person or voice mail, THEY ARE LISTENING.

Simply state the following:
OOPPOSE Senate Bill 7026.
Do NOT support gun control.
Do NOT raise the age limit on firearms purchases from 18 to 21.
Do NOT support a bump stock ban.

This is a long list, but every call we make ties up the lines so that gun control supporters can't get through. In order to ensure we get an even spread, if you last name starts with A-M, start at the top of the list, of your last name starts with N-Z, start at the bottom:
