I've been using Imgur for a few months. I store the original pix in the computer and on a thumb drive. Deleted Photobucket with only the inconvenience of uploading a pic (already resized 100K-200K) to Imgur. It's free, today. Joe

Joe, I agree. I have used Imgur as a back-up for several years after Imageshack started asking user fees and well before Photobucket started their ransom demands. So, if Imageshack and Photobucket came under financial pressure, I also expect Imgur sooner or later to follow. I am also using now Google Photos and postimage as a back-up to Imgur. Those are both free and I hope that Google Photos, because of their affiliation with Google, will be financially more stable.
