Make sure you want a bowie knife. There are many other blade shapes that may serve you better.

Bowie style knives looks cool but they are not very practical in my experience.

Randall has dealers that can get you what you want in about 6 months. I am anxiously awaiting info on a Confederate Bowie I ordered back in May.

What do you guys think of Bear & Son in Alabama? They have some nice damascus steel knives.

Bear and Sons, I like some of the folders they carry , seems top $ for generic work, Damascus origin not specified, Stag fairly cheap,
workmanship average for 2-300 bucks and the leather not impressive either, still some nice nail nick folders (slip joints :-).

between 500 and a K depending on condition and buyer. IF looking traditional check Matt out he's in that price range if not less. IMO the most stunning Damascus cannot replace a true Hamon...stay sharp
