Walmart .45-70 opinions?

Post by Gargoyle » Thu Aug 27, 2015 9:16 pm

The local Wally world here in Vero Beach has a Marlin 1895 .45-70 for under $600. I had one years ago and I regret selling it, I've been wanting another one but the quality control issues they've had recently kept me away. I've been told they've finally got the bugs worked out but what do you guys think?

That's good price.
I have a Remington built 1895 in 45-70 and I have no complaints.
It's taken it's share of hogs in last 3 years.
Do you reload? If not, you should start.
