Bolt Jeweling

Post by bfips » Sat Aug 02, 2014 4:58 am

I got the bolt for my Ruger scout rifle jeweled, checkered and drilled. I really like the look.

Skip Baldwin of Baldwin Bolt Jeweling did the work for $106. Skip is a real gentleman.

I would think any hog would be honored to be killed by such a purdy rifle.

That is sharp. Always appreciated jeweled bolts, triggers, hammers, etc.. [smilie=pdt_xtremez_28.gif]

Very nice. I wonder how he was able to jewel a curved surface. Flat is easy with a wooden dowl but curved...? :-k

You use a small rubber cup that can conform to the curved surface.

In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.
