NOVX defensive ammunition - a giant leap in technology?

Post by g.willikers » Tue Dec 19, 2017 10:15 am

Has anyone seen the ammo from NOVX?
If not, here's a link and video.
It's mighty impressive, according to their info page.
But everyone says that, don't they.
Has anyone tried it?

Short range ammo only.
Anything over 7 to 10 yards gives poor accuracy.
It is copper powder and resin molded into bullets.
The bullets are lighter than normal giving high muzzle velocities, but poor ballistic coefficients, resulting in the projectiles slowing down quickly.
Also the molded fins on the projectile nose despins the projectile quickly, upsetting projectile stabilization, resulting in tumbling bullets 50 to 100 feet down range.
Again, this is short range ammo.
