Out of Spec 9MM

Is there a way to prevent this or stop it from happening? Out of the 300 I just loaded 14 are too big at the primer side. They are .396 inches in diameter, I am using a Dillon xl650 and dillon dies. Once fired, 147gn 1.15 OAL

I saw push thru redding die but not for 9mm, and lee bulge buster but again not for 9mm

Remove the barrel of the pistol you are planning on shooting it in, see if it drops in without binding. This may not be as much of a problem as you think it is.

what gun is it fired from, I read glocks expand rims from unsupported barrel with orig glock barrels, not from lone wolf

Gun, is unknown the crimp is .381, it will not feed in my Glock or Sig.

Try using a Lee Factory Crimp die. I had the same issue when using the Dillon taper crimp die on my Dillon 650. The Lee die tends to work as a final quality control on cases that slightly bulge at the bottom. I had the same problem with my 45acp dies too. Another thing to check is that the shell plate bolt is tightened as much as possible without causing bind. If the shell plate flexes or tips slightly you may not get resized close enough to the bottom of the shell cases.

That is what I have been reading to eliminate "glock bulge" just order one. Thanks for the advise.

I read that also but also read it weakens the brass there and may not be safe to do that.

I got the LFCD tonight, ran the out of spec round thur and they all are good now. I searched and didn't see any issues with it causing a weakness in the case.

I've been using the Lee FCD on my 9mm and 45acp for at least 5 or 6 years now and never had an issue. Hell I have reused my brass time and time again without a problem. One of the guys on my shooting team was having the same issue as you with his 9mm rounds. Once he went to the FCD his problems disappeared too.
